West takes wild All-Star shootout
Rick Nash had four points to lead the West to a 12-9, win over the East in the NHL All-Star Game.
Goals, goals and more goals. The offensive avalanche came fast and furious at the American Airlines Center Wednesday night as the Western Conference roared to a 12-9 victory over the Eastern Conference in the 2007 NHL All-Star Game.

2-2-4 by the Blue Jackets forward was one of the top performances on the night
Columbus Blue Jackets left wing Rick Nash said he was surprised to be an All-Star and that he was going to go to the game, to represent the team and "have fun with it."
Nash did more than have fun with it, he nearly took home the MVP Award, which went to Buffalo's Daniel Briere.
